South Dublin Primary Cross Country

Well done to Pappy, Jeff, Hugo, Oisín, Kyle and Joshua from 6th and James, Hugh, Callum, Jonathan, James, Michael, Sean and Rubin from 5th class who represented the school so well in the South Dublin Inter Primary Schools Cross Country in St.Enda's Park, Rathfarnham last Thursday.

The school team did excellently, running very bravely and finishing just outside the top 4 in the team event. A special mention must go to Pappy who ran an amazing race and won by almost 10 metres ahead of the next athlete in a field of over 300 boys. It was a joy to watch him perform and all who were there on the day would agree that the way that Pappy represented us so well in the race should fill all members of the school community with immense pride.

Thanks also to Ms. Kinnane, Mr. Munnelly and Eamonn McGinley who helped organising the team before the race and on the day and to all the parents who came to support.
