Spelling Bee

Before midterm we had a school spelling bee where all of the 5th and 6th class boys competed to represent the school in the spelling bee county final. Oisín from our class will now go forward to represent us in the county final in the Red Cow Hotel this Thursday, February 27th. Peter from our class will also be the sub as he came second in our school final. Well done boys.

It is also worth mentioning that there was a very high standard of spelling in all three classes who took part within our school.

Co-operative games

On the week before midterm we had Friendship week. Ms. Brennan and the school council (including our own Tadhg and Jimmy) organised for every class to play cooperative games for the whole school. We had great fun as you can see below....

Cake Sale

Congratulations to the boys and parents from our class who raised €540 on the Friday before the midterm break by baking cakes and selling them to the school community. This money will now be used towards the 6th class graduation. Well done to all involved particularly Annette and the organising committee.
