Last Thursday, to Mr. Foley's bitter disappointment, Sam McGuire came to visit Star of the Sea. The trophy, along with the National League and Leinster Championship trophies was brought in by Johnny Cooper (Dublin corner-back) and Declan D'arcy (Dublin selector). It was great as all the boys got to ask questions and have their photos taken with the silverware.
Hopefully in the future we will have some past pupils bringing Sam (or Liam) back to the Star.
